Hey,

This one's a little different. No pep talk today. Just an honest conversation between you and me.

Well done is better than well said.

The honest part

Quoted has been a labor of love. Every week I dig for the right quote, sit with it, and try to turn it into something you can actually use.

That takes real time. A lot more than most people would guess.

And here's the truth: this newsletter simply doesn't make enough money to justify the hours I put into it. The ads help a little, but not nearly enough. I've been running it this way for over a year, hoping the math would sort itself out. It hasn't.

I can't keep doing it like this. Something has to change.

I'd rather tell you that straight than quietly burn out and let Quoted fade away. So here's the change.

Introducing Quoted Plus

Starting now, there's an upgraded membership called Quoted Plus. Here's what you get:

  • A second newsletter every Sunday, just for Plus members

  • A deeper weekly lesson that goes past the quote and into how to actually live it

  • A "try this this week" action so the idea turns into something you do, not just something you read

  • A downloadable phone wallpaper with the week's quote, so it's in front of you every time you pick up your phone

Quoted Plus is $4 a month, or $40 a year.

That's less than a cup of coffee, once a month.

My goal: 100 members by November 30

Here's exactly where things stand. My goal is to reach 100 Quoted Plus members by November 30.

If we get there, Quoted keeps going, and it gets better for everyone, free readers included.

If we don't, I'll have a hard decision to make…

I'll share updates along the way so you can see how close we are.

If Plus isn't for you

That's completely fine. The free Tuesday edition keeps coming every week while we work toward the goal, and I'm genuinely glad you're here.

But if Quoted has ever given you a push on a hard day, helped you reset your mindset, or just made your inbox a little better, I'd really appreciate your support. Upgrading is the single most direct way to keep this thing alive and keep it good.

Every Plus member makes a real difference. Not in a "thanks for the thought" way. In a "this decides whether Quoted keeps going" way.

Thank you for reading, for sticking with me, and for considering it.
